South Florida Estate Planning and Probate Attorney Bob Shapiro

Bob is a native New Yorker who came to Florida for college and law school, and has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1977. He is also licensed to practice law in New York and California. Before law school, Bob worked in his family’s hotel business in New York, and was working toward a Master’s degree in Accounting when he was accepted to law school in the charter class of Nova Southeastern University. During his second year of law school, Bob was one of 50 law students selected nationwide to work as a legal intern at the Department of Justice, where he worked in the Tax Division. During his long career, he fought vigorously for the rights of individuals against the interests of government and industry in both State and Federal courts and administrative tribunals. Bob also has vast experience in handling Social Security matters and Medicare/Medicaid Appeals and Grievances under the Florida Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program. Bob has lived in Coral Gables for 30 years and is very proud of his three adult children. He looks forward to expediting the probate process in the busy courts of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade County for clients of the firm. As a long-time pet owner, Bob encourages his clients to plan for their pets as part of their estate planning.
